Internal Sales — Pinewood, Monash Area

Exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson, wanting career progression with an industry leading security wholesaler. About the role: Due to ongoing business growth and significant market opportunities, we’re on the lookout for a switched-on salesperson to join a dynamic and supportive internal sales team at Seadan Mt Waverley. This is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm. In this dynamic internal sales position, you will be responsible for providing efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base. The role: Counter sales including customer service, responding to sales enquiries, preparation of and following up of quotes. Receiving and making calls to an existing customer database, both active and inactive clients (up to 100 calls/day servicing a variety of stakeholders.) Actioning customer requests and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email. Following upon on quotes and introducing customers to new promotions. Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and management requests as required. About you: Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately) You possess prior experience in a fast-paced wholesale environment - across customer service and sales. Your communication skills are second to none – you must be a confident people person with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as building and maintaining strong customer relationships is vital. You must be able to type above 40 words per minute. You have a high level of initiative, proactivity, and self-confidence – you are always prepared to jump in to do what it takes for the team to deliver premium customer service. You have a desire to succeed and progress in your career – you are a ‘hunter’ with aspirations to move into external sales and business development roles.
