TRS Resourcing has been tasked with finding a Warehouse and Logistics Manager for our client based in Derrimut, Victoria. This role requires leadership in warehousing and delivery of quality logistics services to meet DIFOT, inventory accuracy, and quality targets while keeping costs within budget. This position offers a generous salary package, supper and car allowance. Key Responsibilities: - Drive a culture of behavioural safety and dynamic risk assessments. - Lead effective recruitment, allocation, and utilisation of resources across warehouse, dispatch, receiving, and inventory management functions. - Monitor and communicate performance against KPIs using visual performance management and drive a continuous improvement mindset. - Ensure site and staff compliance with necessary licences and certificates. - Oversee daily operational and administrative procedures and overall site performance, including security. - Manage CHEP / Loscam accounts and transfers. - Ensure appropriate storage and inventory control of raw materials, packaging, labels, and finished goods. Job Requirements: - Demonstrated team leadership to deliver business outcomes and manage resources efficiently. - Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet timelines. - High-level verbal and written communication, analytical, influence, and problem-solving skills. - Experience in providing third-party logistics (3PL) to the chemical industry. - Knowledge of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG) and/or Dangerous Goods Storage & Handling Regulations. - Experience in negotiating enterprise bargaining agreements.
