Senior UI Designer — Redfern, Sydney

A few things you’ll like about working here: A flexible and hybrid working policy Generous parental leave and summer days off Heaps of growth and training opportunities 24/7 access to our employee assistance program for you and your family About the job We’re looking for a full-time Senior UI/UX Designer, you’ll collaborate with strategists, writers, animators, developers, producers, and clients to deliver immersive web experiences, design systems for large websites, UX strategies and everything in between. Work closely with a diverse team of creatives, strategists, producers, fellow designers, and developers. Design wireframes through to dev-ready prototypes for websites with large volumes of content; e-commerce platforms; immersive web experiences and demos; and sites with multiple languages. Implement and iterate on wireframes, mock-ups, designs, and prototypes. Deep dive into content and be able to suggest alternative ways to present complex information. Learn from data to suggest different ways to improve experiences and messaging. Suggest multivariate tests to prove hypotheses. Analyse live data, and output key insights to inform next steps for optimisation. Establish scalable design systems and component libraries for the broader design team to use and build off. Inject the latest and greatest web technologies into our work. Highly communicative, responsive, and collaborative both within the team, stakeholders across the company and clients You will need: At least 3-5 years of experience across real projects, with relevant tertiary education. Experience on an iterative web or product project/s. Intimate knowledge of best practice customer journeys. A background in pairing with developers to ensure front-end animation and interactive details are achievable and well executed. Able to create low-fidelity designs in short design sprints. Ability to create low-fidelity prototypes as proof of concept. Knowledge of designing mobile-first, and a champion of accessibility best practices. Ability to present work with an effective, coherent rationale and narrative. Experience using Spline, Webflow, After Effects, CSS and HTML is a plus. Must possess a strong team orientation and excellent interpersonal skills. Train and mentor Junior UI Designer as required.
