Period of Appointment ASAP for 2 years Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. Duties Undertake research, investigations, and analysis into legal and policy matters, including in relation to civil claims against the State of Tasmania. Provide authoritative advice and recommendations on complex matters associated with legal and policy issues relating to the Department of Justice. Regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including officers within Tasmanian Government Departments, independent statutory offices, and external parties. Contribute to the development of policy and the implementation of relevant projects undertaken by the Department of Justice. The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned, that are within the capacity, qualification and experience expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
