Watch this - What we do The role & the team The Senior Product Designer is an Individual Contributor that forms an integral part of our Product & Engineering teams. The Product Designer leads the Design and Customer Experience strategies and initiatives across the business and provides mentoring and support to our UI/UX Designer. You will be responsible for designing customer experiences & creating products that merchants will love. You'll work alongside experienced Product Managers, and Engineers in collaborative cross-functional teams, to help shape the products used by Shippit customers to revolutionise how people send things to anyone, anywhere. Day to day Designing customer-focused products and experiences. Collaborating closely with Triad (Product Managers, Engineers) and cross-functional teams to create new experiences and enhance existing products. Delivering finished designs for new experiences, ensuring they align with our design system and brand guidelines. Contributing to the evolution and maintenance of the design system used across our products. Creating prototypes of new interactions or concepts to communicate with other teams effectively. Testing ideas with customers or focus groups to ensure they meet user needs and expectations. Working with Marketing and Brand teams to create inspiring visuals. Staying updated with industry trends and continuously growing and learning as a designer and communicator. Our ideal Shippster Strong background in UI/UX design with a deep understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles. Proven experience in design leadership and mentoring within cross-functional product design teams. Expertise in rapid prototyping, user journeys, and usability principles. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, being actively involved and curious about new features. Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Dovetail and Adobe Suite. Expertise in Customer-Centered Design, with a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, behaviours, and motivations. Ability to rapidly iterate ideas based on customer feedback to maximise value for customers and the business. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively. Experience in designing SaaS-based products is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving aptitude and analytical mind. Excellent communication skills.
