Position Overview: This role involves providing support to a participant with ADHD and behavioral issues. Initially, the shifts will be once a week, with the possibility of increasing hours as the family and participant become comfortable with the arrangement. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized care and support to the participant. Assist with daily activities, ensuring safety and well-being. Implement strategies to manage ADHD and behavioral issues effectively. Foster a positive and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with the participant's family and other support team members. Essential Requirements: NDIS Screening Check Working With Children Check (WWCC) Valid Driver's License (D/L) Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support (Preferred) Completion of NDIS Modules: Orientation, Induction, Support Safe & Enjoyable Meals (or willing to obtain) Valid First Aid and CPR Certification Experience with ADHD and Behavioral Issues is a must Desirable Attributes: Strong understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture and communities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
