St John&39;s Primary School is looking for a teacher to take up the responsibility of a Grade 5/6 class for Semester 2, 2024. The applicant will assume all classroom duties expected of a teacher, including, but not limited to, the following roles and duties: Have an understanding of, commitment to, and support for the values and ethos of the Catholic school and the mission of the Catholic Church. Have an understanding of the science of learning approaches, contemporary learning spaces and the pedagogies that support them, or a willingness to learn more about these processes. Foster and develop appropriate professional relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community. Undertake the responsibility for the preparation of students in a sacramental year. Regularly engage in collaborative processes to share knowledge of key learning areas, subjects and pedagogical approaches with colleagues. Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices. Capacity to work in a collaborative team arrangement. Have knowledge of, commitment to and support of the Ministerial Order 1359 - Child Safe Standards.
