About the Role As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operations of our procurement department. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire goods and services for the business in a cost-efficient manner, ensuring prompt provision without compromising on quality. You will be involved in developing and maintaining prospect lists, promoting our company’s reputation, and implementing policies and procedures. Additionally, you will coordinate the delivery of services or products, identify areas for improvement, and oversee supplier and subcontractor performance. Key Responsibilities Administration: Maintain prospect lists for key skills, assist in promoting the company's attractiveness and reputation, develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient operations, coordinate and oversee service/product delivery Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Review supplier and subcontractor aspects as necessary, plan for effective start-up, track performance throughout the project, and ensure delivery as per agreements. Procurement Duties: Perform light procurement tasks (consumables and office supplies), raise purchase orders, maintain procurement trackers, assist in backorder reports and expedite items, and handle admin duties like creating flow charts in Word/Excel. Continuous Improvement: Solicit feedback from managers and candidates on processes, share learnings with managers and the Estimating team, and update procedures, tools, or databases with the learnings. What We’re Looking For 12 months experience in purchasing or a related field, including former AP officers with PO raising experience. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential. Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with team members. Why Join Us?
