Manufacturing giant needs a Mechanical Coordinator to direct & coordinate plant, equipment/machinery in the build of a greenfield, high-volume plant. Reporting to the Project Manager, you be responsible for directing and coordinating plant manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements. Responsibilities Inspect completed Plant installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs. Develop budgets, estimating labour, material, and construction costs. Ensuring Plans, Procedures and Forms are adhered to. Developing and ensuring the implementation and ongoing management of Construction Method Statements/Work Procedures (CMSs/WPs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and lots are opened and managed in a timely and effective manner. Ensuring latest revision drawings, procedures, forms and other relevant documentation are used onsite in consultation and assistance of the Document Controllers. Reporting Non-Conformances, Corrective and Preventative action immediately following their identification. You will possess At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role on a major construction project Experience across Building Services and Fixed / Mobile plant / equipment Experience working within a D&C Environment Possess good interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively Ability to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressure Flexible and adaptable Good organisational skills and able to pay attention to detail If you are looking to work on an exciting greenfield project which manufactures large-scale, household name products, then we want to speak to you.
