Our client is one of Australia's leading Scrap metal recycling businesses with their main depot located in Chipping Norton NSW. We are looking for a reliable, forklift operator who is interested in a temp to perm opportunity and an immediate start. 2 shifts available (OT available) - 6:30am to 2:30pm - 8:00am to 4:00pm Pay Rate - $34.88 per hour. Key Responsibilities - Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to handle and transport scrap metal materials around the recycling yard. Sort and organise scrap metal materials according to type, size, and quality. Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials from trucks and containers. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the recycling yard and storage areas. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and targets. Requirements - Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a scrap metal recycling or similar industrial setting. Ability to operate various types of forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and effectively. Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in outdoor environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Available 5 days a week , full time working hours OT. Have good verbal and written communication skills
