Construction and Maintenance Worker — Lobethal, Adelaide Hills

Programmed Skilled Workforce are looking for an experienced Construction and Maintenance Worker based in Woodside. Our client is a successful, modern water utility that is wholly owned by the Government of South Australia. They employ more than 1,400 South Australians across a broad range of disciplines who operate over $14 billion of assets. They deliver essential water and sewerage services to more than 1.7 million South Australians. They operate in a geographically and climatically diverse service area, with sites and locations from Ceduna through to Port Augusta, the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara lands, across to the Riverland and down to Mount Gambier, and most places in between. To succeed in this opportunity, you will need Availability to work on call and remote areas Basic computer skills and data input Communication skills - written and verbal (complete routine forms) Ability to work in a team environment Possess a CURRENT First Aid certificate, drivers licence and white card The following skills are desirable - Doggers Certificate, Truck Licence, Tractor/FEL accreditation, Water Industry Certificate, Work Zone Traffic Management, Confined Space Training, Weed Control/Spraying Certificate Experience with operations and maintenance of major water system assets Experience in the use and care of power tools and other specialised equipment Understanding WHS, environmental and water quality procedures, principles and practices Ability in using data capture equipment The role will go for 3 to 6 months with an immediate start. It is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm. Competitive pay rate of $40 /hour.
