Key Duties & Responsibilities: Capable of managing multiple projects in progress Monitor compliance with our quality audit requirements to ensure adequate follow-up on actioned items Partner, engage, coordinate, and manage trades team during the restoration process for buildings affected by insurance events Monitor regular tracking mechanism as part of commitment necessary for the progress of jobs Act as the conduit between clients & insurance companies to ensure closure within expected time frame Sustain effective, trustworthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maintaining business excellence services Manage all the costing for budget reporting purposes on all projects Contribute effectively in reporting to management to present successful outcomes of projects management May involve managing challenging dispute/issue resolution, as required Maintain compliance requirements for all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & finalization of relevant documentations Compliance with invoicing processes including necessary purchase order processes Maintain compliance with all company policies including WH&S Travel requirements to different sites across Brisbane Key Selection Criteria: To apply for this position, would be vital to meet with following selected criteria to enable you succeed in this role but where needed we are happy to provide the adequate training and mentoring along the way. Previous Insurance building experience advantageous, however not essential QBCC Licence required Previous Project Management experience Carpentry/Building Trade qualified advantageous Cert IV or Bachelor of Building & Construction advantageous, however not essential Excellent interpersonal communication with customer service building and sustaining relationships Ability to manage multiple projects whilst maintaining competing priorities and deadlines Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client Computer literacy Construction White Card Understanding of WHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates Current motor vehicle licence Please note: The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check where required.
