Operational Management: · Engage with key stakeholders in SRO to determine business needs that can be met through SharePoint Online, Microsoft Technologies, and other tools as appropriate. · Ongoing design and implementation of applications working closely with systems architects and other BTS staff to provide such applications by utilising modern technologies including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and related services). · Develop, implement and maintain applications as required (including but not restricted to SharePoint Online/Teams, Intranet, templates, online forms and workflow) in line with branding guidelines and designs from UX/UI artefacts. Ensure features are compliant with Victorian Government standards such as security, information management and compliance, and web accessibility. · Other duties as directed that are not listed in the position description, but which are consistent with a position of this grade and skills requirement. Collaboration: · Lead and develop training materials with Learning & Development business unit, assist with coordinating training for stakeholders including end users and support resources. · Collaborate and work closely with project managers, business analyst and key subject matter experts across BTS. · Builds and maintains relationships by working with people at all levels. Develops vital partnerships with people across business areas, functions, and external organisations. Builds trust through consistent actions, values and emotionally intelligent communication. Key selection criteria Skills and Knowledge: 1. ICT Specialisation: Demonstrated ability in the administration of SharePoint, O365, Azure, and associated Microsoft products with a proven record of implementing SharePoint through deploying, building and migrating applications. 2. Systems Thinking: Have experience in supporting SharePoint in a complex environment. Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate opportunities effectively. Strong understanding of the linkages between the various components to be able to make recommendations on strategy and policy within the SharePoint environment. 3. Teamwork/Initiative and Accountability : Demonstrated self-management and communication skills to work effectively independently or in a team under competing priorities. Assist stakeholders and prepare clear written technical advice, reports, and work procedures. 4. Planning and Organising : Ability to set own objectives and priorities where appropriate, reviewing and adjusting as required. Identify processes, tasks and resources required to achieve those goals. Demonstrate ability to track progress and report to management. Has knowledge of ITIL, demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve complex technical issues. Leadership to initiate ongoing improvements. 5. Service Excellence : Ability to collaborate and deliver stakeholder outcomes. Show an understanding of the stakeholder’s organisational context to customise services and ensure a high-quality response. Demonstrated customer service skills to constructively deal with service issues that arise in a timely manner.
