The main task of this position is to manage the day-to-day customer service queries and reporting for all major accounts for AU, NZ and Asia The company is a Supply Chain Solutions specialising in transportation, logistics, forwarding and warehousing with a focus on eCommerce. Due to continued growth and success they currently have an opening for a Customer Service Officer to join the team. As the Customer Service Officer is responsible for managing international customer orders from origin to destination. Specific Responsibilities Manage all customer enquiries that are submitted via email, phone or customer service platform(s). Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipment status or delays to delivery. Work with the suppliers to ensure resolutions are provided for all open queries. Manage the supplier and customer relationships to ensure longevity of customer business and supply relationships. Provide shipment status and reporting for customers. Experience & skills required: Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience in either an operational or customer service role Clear understanding of Logistics/Freight processes Hands-on mindset with the ability to work autonomously as required Ability and experience to manage suppliers to achieve desired outcome Excellent oral and written communication skills to all levels Intermediate to advanced user of Word, Excel and Outlook Time management and problem solving skills This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is seeking the next challenge in their career.
