With DC operations currently in Melbourne and Brisbane, they are opening their new Sydney DC within the next month and are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to join their team This is a temp to perm opportunity, responsible for managing operations of a new facility. This will be a small operation, with approx 6 - 7 team members to start with and then will expand to a team of 20 - 25 over the next 12 months. Responsibilities: Manage and optimise warehouse operations Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment DC will be paper based for first 12 months, will be responsible for implementing WMS Implement continuous improvement initiatives Management of all stock movements in and out of the DC. Assist with recruitment of staff, staff inductions and training and development of team Prepare reports and analyze data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement. Requirements: Relevant experience in a fast-paced DC/warehouse environment Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
