We are looking for a full-time experienced Full Time Carpenter to join our team. Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of woodwork, including, installing fixtures; walls, structures and fittings, smoothing surfaces and repairing existing structures of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Concrete formwork, build moulds to retain wet concrete Site set-up prior to excavation, using string & pegs Read blueprints/instructions and examine the materials and procedures to determine the kind and amount of work necessary. Install structures and fixtures of wood to form parts of buildings. Measuring and cutting timbers for pre installations. Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items. To repair existing walls and structures. Selecting and preparing fittings for framework. Lifting and positioning panels and securing them walls and ceilings. Preparing wood corner fittings such as measuring and cutting. Build scaffolding and other construction structures. To complete other duties according to blueprints, architect's drawings, or oral instructions, using hand tools and portable tools. Compliance with OH&S guidelines. Qualifications and Skills Relevant qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools. Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities. Able to work efficiently with and without supervision. Strong eye for detail. Good communicator, ability to work with other trades. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week. Apply now
