This will align to the overall strategic direction within MNMH. As an advanced senior clinician in a large multi-site service, deliver specialist contemporary social work clinical services for a complex caseload as part of a multidisciplinary team. Contribute to and participate as part of the collaborative co-leadership interdisciplinary model led by the Team Manager, Northern Continuing Care Team. Align, lead and contribute to the strategic direction for social work services across MNMH-RBWH and the broader MNMH stream in accordance with the strategic focus guided by the MNMH Director Allied Health About you This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Apply advanced level knowledge regarding current Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in mental health, and advanced clinical skills in the provision of clinical services to individuals and groups of mental health consumers with complex needs in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and professional practice standards. Provide advanced clinical advice and professional advocacy to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding issues affecting the profession and the delivery of profession specific services within the health service. Lead professional governance activities for social work services within MNMH-RBWH including strategic planning and advocacy for the discipline. Staff are expected to possess knowledge of, or have the ability to acquire knowledge of, relevant applications including: Electronic clinical systems, eg. Consumer Integrated Mental Health and Addictions Application (CIMHA), Hospital Base Client Information System (HBCIS), Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) as relevant Electronic education and training systems, eg. Talent Management System (TMS) Electronic incident reporting and consumer feedback systems, eg. Riskman Electronic payroll and rostering systems, eg. Workbrain, myHR Electronic recruitment management systems, eg.
