Day shift Forklift Driver Permanent role on offer 6am till 2.20pm with early finish on Fridays Clean, modern work environment Immediate start The Company Our client is a leading manufacturer of ductworks for industrial and commercial new buildings, providing services for the three largest building services contractors in Melbourne. They will provide a clean and modern facility and are looking to expand their team further with a highly skilled forklift operator. You will be involved in, but not limited to: Driving a 5 tonne forklift Stacking large silage cage containers to 4 or 5 high Loading trucks Manual labouring eg. filling the silage containers by hand before stacking them, all products are aluminium lightweight but some parts are unusual sizes To be successful, you will need to: Hold a valid LF Forklift licence - essential Have previous experience within manufacturing Must have good english / communication skills Basic computer skills Liaise with truck drivers Have a strong focus on quality and attention to detail Be involved in the companywide continuous improvement activity Be able to pass a full medical before starting including drug and alcohol testing Hours & Pay Rate: 6am till 2.20pm with early finish on Fridays $31.45 per hour with an increase in August in line with their EBA You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
