About The Opportunity We are seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support concerning a range of matters including client contracts, subcontracting, disputes and general advice within the Property Services division. As a member of the broader Legal Team, you'll primarily support the Head of Legal and assist sales and operational teams across Australia and New Zealand. This position provides the choice of full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE, 4 days per week) employment, with a hybrid working model enabling you to have a meaningful impact at work, with the flexibility to balance your passions and personal life. You will provide high quality legal or contract services with a range of responsibilities, including: Negotiating and drafting of commercial contracts Assistance with complex contract management issues and disputes Providing general advice on a wide range of legal matters such as vendor contracting, capital projects, ESG, policy drafting, infrastructure and property leasing, if the need arises. About You We're looking for a junior or mid-level lawyer, preferably with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) and a valid legal practicing certificate in Victoria. While we value experience, we're also open to considering candidates with diverse backgrounds, emphasising that the right attitude and skills are paramount. Ideally, you will demonstrate and possess the following: experience negotiating and drafting contracts; experience in general corporate law, construction law or procurement; strong communication skills; exceptional stakeholder management skills and a pragmatic and commercially focused mindset; and a willingness to learn new skills.
