Scheduled to complete the changes in Spring 2024, the hotel will provide an all-encompassing experience of entertainment, leisure, dining, conferencing and unparalleled hospitality. As Host Leader, you will lead the team responsible for delivering the first impression of our venues to our guests. Your welcoming personality and positive persona needs to resonate through your team. Quick thinking skills and a 'not a problem' attitude will help you run a busy door. You'll be the conductor of all the busy services. As our Host Leader, you will be responsible for: Showing exceptional guest relationship skills, and instilling these in the greater host teams. Enhancing the guest experience and managing concerns in a professional and caring manner. Developing; implementing and maintaining venue SOPs, SOS and professional standards. Developing and maintaining a high-touch, best in-class service environment. Managing the host team life-cycle, including recruitment, onboarding and team development in line with Sofitel and House Made Hospitality values. Developing a strong and sustainable team culture that is in keeping with Sofitel and House Made Hospitality brand values. Qualifications At least 5 years' experience as a host in a high volume bar or restaurant environment. At least 5 years' experience in a CBD/ corporate environment. Strong team management capabilities. Experience in writing and delivering training and development. Thorough understanding of how a restaurant door operates, the processes and how to manage unforeseen challenges.
