Qualifications & experience Experience in the hospitality industry Experience in a customer focused environment including cash handling Interest in working with young people Demonstrated ability to present food, beverages and products in an attractive manner Knowledge of cash handling and receipting Tasks & responsibilities Assist customers with sales/purchases required in a friendly and courteous manner Operate POS registers for Cafe sales including eftpos transactions. Provide a high level of hospitality expertise in food and beverage preparation, handling and presentation Maintain cleaning standards inside and outside cafe - especially in food preparation and sales areas Assist with re-ordering of stock items and stocktaking when required Hours Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with no RDO. Hours worked on weekends will attract the appropriate loadings.
