The Traineeship This role will be rostered between two locations Caloundra and Buderim , hosted with the Endeavour Foundation working at their sites between the hours of 7am – 5pm with some weekend work: 66 hours a fortnight. As part of your trainee role, some of the tasks you will be doing include: Maintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises. Inspect and load of each vehicle entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areas. Provide instruction for the separation of specified materials to ensure safety Physical work, repetitive bending to ground level and moving of furniture. Forklift licence will be issued as part of the Supply Chain Traineeship On the job training Your Registered Training Organisation will work with you in your work hours to compete your training so you can gain your qualification What will you bring to the role? A recent school leaver/ Junior Candidate Good Customer Service Skills Can work between two centres (Buderim and Caloundra) You are a team player with great communication skill High attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills You are reliable and eager to work and learn. You are safety conscious and understand the importance of following Workplace Health & Safety procedures. Have an interest in Recycling, reusing and upcycling A driver’s licence is preferable due to limited public transport to site locations. Able to gain a police check including pre employment medical and drug and alcohol testing. What can we offer you? Salary Packaging Benefits Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free.
