Work close to home and join a supportive team in an environment that will help you flourish as a Child Care Educator About the role At our Early Learning Centre is a long day care centre we provide a range of activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years of age so that each child can engage in something in which they are interested. We are looking for a diploma qualified Child Care Educator that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring, and safe environment. This role is a permanent role, working across opening and closing shifts and during vacation time. Ideally you will be able to Have an understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework. Assist the Director and Early Childhood Teachers to plan, implement and evaluate programs. Stepping up as the Educational Leader when required. Create a fun and engaging environment through play experiences. Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families. Form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues. Requirements Completed the Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance. Highly Desirable First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting. Completed CHCPRT025 ‘Identify and report children and young people at risk’ or willingness to obtain before starting.
