The Moreton Bay College is seeking a suitably qualified 2 Teachers for English and Business to join the team on a fixed term basis. Moreton Bay College was established in 1901 as a school for girls from P-12 and now supports an enrolment in excess of 1100 students. THE POSITIONS The college is seeking suitably qualified, passionate Teachers for the following positions on a fixed term for Term 3 and 4. English Teacher - Part-time 0.4 FTE Business Teacher w ith an interest in Project 8 (project based learning subject) - Full-time 1.0 FTE The College offers a very broad program in sporting, musical and pastoral activities which are designed to enhance the holistic development of the students. Staff are expected to participate in the co-curricular program of the College. By participating in the College’s co-curricular program it is recognised that a teacher is contributing to the mission and ethos of the College. Describe practices in planning, implementing, monitoring, assessment and evaluation. Contribute to the life of the College through the classroom and through the co-curricular program. This educator must also be A self-directed learner. Prepared to approach change positively. Willing to contribute to curriculum development. Flexible in approach and thinking. Passionate about teaching and learning. Empathetic to the needs of students and parents. Totally support the values and Christian ethos of this Uniting Church College.
