Looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in integration, Java, microservices, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of high-level and low-level design principles, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and resilient architectures. Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry, particularly with Australian Unity, is highly advantageous. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into architectural designs and technical solutions. Design and implement integration solutions that enable seamless communication and data exchange between disparate systems and applications. Develop high-level architecture designs that leverage Java, microservices, and cloud technologies to support scalability, reliability, and performance requirements. Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability across the organization's technology landscape Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams on best practices for implementing architectural patterns and design principles. Evaluate new and emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the organization's architecture. Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that optimize cost, performance, and security. Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to ensure that architectural designs are successfully implemented and delivered on time and within budget. Provide mentorship and coaching to junior architects and development teams to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation Stay current with industry trends and best practices in enterprise architecture, integration, Java development, microservices, and cloud computing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect, with a focus on integration, Java, microservices, and cloud technologies. Strong understanding of high-level and low-level design principles, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Extensive experience designing and implementing integration solutions using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, MuleSoft, or similar. Proficiency in Java programming language and experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar. Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices architectures using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with experience architecting and deploying cloud-native applications. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience working in the healthcare or insurance industry, particularly with Australian Unity, is highly advantageous. Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar, are a plus.
