About the Team As the way we shop continues to evolve, our Coles Network Engineering team keeps us at the forefront. Designing, delivering, and operating our Data and Voice networks to keep our stores connected, using the latest technologies. In Network Engineering our full-time employees benefit from; Flexible work Supportive, experienced team members In house training Vendor and external training for new products Access to vendor-based learning resources About the role Reporting to the Team Lead - Network Operations Centre, you will help ensure Australians have access to essentials everyday by providing technical Incident Management and ongoing operational support across our large and complex network environment. You will join the team at the beating heart of the Coles network - the Network Operations Centre - to support and assure our next generation networks. You will provide Level 2 operational support for our entire fleet; performing network monitoring, Incident, Problem and Change Management. You will be working with the latest technologies across; SD-WAN ACI SD-Access WiFi CradlePoint About You You and your other team members will work together to provide the best network and network support experience to Coles' team members, and its partners and customers. You are a self-motivated individual who thrives in a busy and complex operational network environment, while offering complex and system-critical support and advice across a large network and infrastructure. Technical skills you will need: Cisco CCNP or similar work experience Cisco technologies; SDWAN, SD-Access, Data Centre Switching, ACI, WAN, LAN, WIFI, Voice In depth understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN/routing/switching) Practical experience of DNS and DHCP technology Demonstrable technical end user service restoration skills Knowledge of Network Support tools; packet tracing, etc Technical Skills that are good to have: Knowledge in network automation using Python or Ansible. Knowledge of Network management and monitoring tools.
