Associate DevQA Engineer — North Ryde, Ryde Area

Well, it's like an Xbox video game except people can win real money We're looking for a Associate DevQA Engineer to join our Macquarie Park studio and make sure our product quality continues to shine. If you are a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities of working in a multi-discipline creative environment, then we love to meet you. What you will be doing: Write, maintain and review test cases and test documents. Provide feedback on quality assurance processes to increase the effectiveness of the testing process. Perform game functionality testing during the game development phase to ensure high product quality. Defect management and coordination. Working closely with game developers and game designers to understand game functionality and assist in resolving identified defects. Participate in requirements understanding and maintain the traceability matrix to assure test coverage is adequate. Compile, configure and load games onto the target proprietary hardware. Take ownership of reported bugs through to resolution. What you will bring: Knowledge or experience in XML, Linux OS, bash script, Python, C# and Unity. Knowledge or experience in the use of source control, automate build environment and test management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills. Good understanding of testing methodologies and documenting test plans & test cases. Knowledge of testing in an agile environment. Awareness of test estimation techniques and be able to provide estimates for assigned testing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field. Good team player - a passion to help your team members and to work with them for the greater good. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking abilities. Good communication skills, ability to clearly communicate with the developer and an eye for detail. A positive, can do proactive attitude. Awareness of and adherence to Quality Assurance practices. It would be great if you have: Knowledge or exposure to slot gaming functionality and regulatory requirements. Knowledge or experience in bug reporting tools. Knowledge or experience of slot gaming mechanism. Please note that this position requires your presence in our office in Macquarie Park, NSW Australia as the work cannot be done remotely.
