We are seeking a savvy Finance Business Partner to join our team and partner with our sales and marketing functions. You will actively engage members of the Sales, Marketing & NPD teams to support and influence stakeholders in the delivery of objectives. Key Responsibilities of the Role Sales, Marketing & NPD Business Partnering: Build a strong working relationship with those in our sales channels (Retail, Online, Corporate & Wholesale) and New Product Development managers, providing insights and support to achieve business objectives. Take the lead in verifying cost saving and margin improvement initiatives and work with the GM of Commercial Sales to explore the margin benefit of sales opportunities. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support Sales and Marketing through coordinating the budgeting and forecasting processes, uploading the budget and forecast into the relevant systems and assisting with the compilation of the budget presentation pack. Completing routine reporting and processes : Ensure daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting is relevant, accurate and completed on time, and take ownership of the business's reporting and forecasting tool. Support the Financial Controller with end of month processes and, working with stakeholders, provide insights on variances to budgets and forecasts. Who are we looking for? You will of course have strong analytical and reporting skills and you commercial awareness will enable you to add value through sound financial support systems. Advanced Excel and systems skills are a must, accompanied by a strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver high quality work. FMCG industry knowledge would be an advantage. Our finance team is a busy hive of activity supporting the front and back ends of our business, you will be self-motivated, able to manage completing priorities and will support other people and functions, demonstrating integrity and trust through your day to day interactions. Qualifications Bachelor of Business Accounting or similar Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales finance analyst role NetSuite experience is preferable. Costing experience is required.
