Here's what awaits you: Operating CAT 793 and 777 Haul Trucks in the Open Pit, working in conjunction with PC 8000 Face shovels, Excavators and Loaders, to fulfil production requirements in a safe and reliable manner. Operating Haul Trucks across various areas of the NSR-KCGM site, including the Fimiston Open Pit, Rehandle Ore Delivery area and other trainee-related activities to build your familiarisation to operating in a mining environment. Safely operating a variety of mobile dump trucks to transport ore and waste to designated areas to achieve production targets in the mine, You will also display behaviour consistent with our Northern Star Values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect and Results, looking to work with the business for the long-term, and be an integral part in its future growth and development To thrive in this role, you'll need: Qualifications: Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence Desired Experience & Competencies: Excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn, Ability to work 12-hour shifts with a repetitive workload, Physically fit and hold a valid WA Drivers Licence You must reside in the Goldfields region for this Residential opportunity.
