Women's and Children's Health Network, Health Information Services Paediatric Emergency Department, North Adelaide (5006) Salary Classification - ASO2 - Administrative Services Officer L2 - $57,842 to $62,221 Part Time (0.7 FTE) - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Emergency Department as an Administrative Officer, where you will be responsible for: Provide a comprehensive and confidential reception and registration service for patients presenting to the Paediatric Emergency Department. Assist patients and their families, as well as clinical staff within the department. Process admissions, transfers and discharges of patients from the PED and broader hospital as required. Supporting and actively participating in a positive culture and safe work environment Incumbent will be subject to working under a 24/7 Roster (morning, afternoon and overnight shifts) About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Use initiative and work autonomously in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities Communicate effectively with consumers, staff, and external agencies, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills Exercise judgment and handle difficult situations with tact, diplomacy, and empathy Provide efficient front-line, customer-focused service Work with diverse groups of people from various backgrounds Perform comprehensive administrative support services efficiently Maintain sensitive and confidential information while adhering to confidentiality principles What WCHN Can Offer You Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.
