We are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Project Engineer to join our HPS team in our Brisbane, QLD office. Reporting to the Pacific Engineering Manager, your focus will be to lead/implement complex and standard engineering solutions, typically leading a project or undertaking the Safety Engineering scope in a larger project to successful completion within budgeted time and cost constraints achieving required quality. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for technical delivery of on/Off Process Migration and Control Systems projects Ensure the required pre-requisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work. Development of Functional Design Specification, Detailed Design Specifications, clarifications of project scope, review of design inputs and test procedures as required. Actively participate in HSE processes, meet HSE metrics and follow all HSE procedures Liaise with internal project leads and external project representatives to ensure the design aligns with project requirements Pro-actively identify potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work Provide sales assistance for estimation, proposal preparation, demonstration of capability Familiarity with variety of industrial plants and applications as applicable to control systems Key Experience & Capabilities: Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline (e.g.: Instrument & Control, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering). 5-10 years' experience in implementing Instrumentation & Control and safety solutions in one or more of the following verticals: Refinery, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Understanding of the functioning of the field instruments such as sensors, finals control elements Understanding of the Electrical Engineering concepts, such as power supply distribution, rotating equipment, variable speed drives, UPS supplies Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDS, Electrical Drawings) Good Knowledge of DCS, SIS and/or Process Control Networks and security plus basic knowledge of Advanced Process Control and Business Solutions Knowledge and experience of site installation and project commissioning Working knowledge of and experience with VMWare, including virtual machine setup, management, and troubleshooting. Advantageous to have: VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) Cisco CCNA Certified Knowledge of Honeywell TPS, Experion, Safety manager TUV FSEng Certification is advantageous Knowledge of Process Control Open System infrastructure technologies is highly advantageous. (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory Domains, patch management, antivirus solutions, remote access methodologies, system monitoring) About Us The world is changing.
