About Us The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community. About the Role The Administration Officer is responsible for a range of administration functions that support the daily operations of Court Support Services for the Loddon Mallee Region (Bendigo/Mildura) and Hume Region (Shepparton, Wodonga and Wangaratta) and is based at the Bendigo Law Courts. Tasks include reception, database entry and referral management. The role involves regularly liaising with internal and external key stakeholders, requiring sound communication and planning skills.Administrative support may require direct contact with court service users, with support from leadership. About You This position has no direct reports and there is no financial delegation associated with this role. The role may require decisions to be made in relation to clients with a range of complex needs in consultation with Manager, Team Leader and case managers. This position is required to provide reception duties and travel to other Court Support Services sites may be required. Extensive experience in all admistration functions along with knowledge of a variety of computer systems is highly desirable.
