Payroll Administration Officer (Data Entry) — North Parramatta, Parramatta Area

Location: Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Full-Time, Temporary position, until April 2025   The organisation: Catholic Schools Parramatta are seeking a Payroll Administration Officer to be accountable for providing high quality administrative support to our Payroll team. This is a great opportunity for a detail oriented administrator or an early career Payroll generalist looking for experience in a busy People & Culture team The successful applicant will be supporting the implementation of our new HRIS system in 2024, so this is an exciting time to join our supportive and friendly team. This is a hybrid work environment - 50% in our North Parramatta office and 50% remote.   Your day to day as a Payroll Administrator: As the first line of contact for our department, you'll be triaging queries coming through our service desk, solving requests where you can and reassigning to our payroll experts where you can't You'll use your excellent communication skills and attention to detail working with administrators across our 80 schools to process employment contracts and casual timesheets in peak and quiet periods You'll take pride in keeping our important people records up to date as we transition into the new HRIS system, helping our team with maintaining information in our applicant tracking system, casual booking tool and enterprise content management system You will assist the Payroll Manager directly by processing invoices, raising purchase orders and tracking our team budget This role can be fast paced and unpredictable, so you'll be drawn into various other projects and initiatives as they arise   You will bring to the role a solid background in administration in any industry or role, as well as: Attention to detail - administration keeps our team afloat and we will need someone who can quickly develop a strong understanding of our processes and data management  Excellent communication - we are a highly visible team at CSPD and confidence in written and verbal communication is important when communicating with stakeholders across our organisation Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly Great time management skills for when things get busy   The benefits: Be part of a great team in a collaborative and inclusive culture Enjoy a hybrid working model (50% Office, 50% Remote)  EAP Program Professional Development Opportunities    Apply now Please include with your application a cover letter of no more than one page and a copy of your current resume.  This position involves working with children.
