Senior Sales Development Representative — The Rocks, Sydney

Position Senior Sales Development Representative Department Sales Development Reports to Internal Sales Team Leader Overall purpose and objectives Utilises Emarsys processes, procedures and collateral to generate and nurture a pipeline of qualified opportunities. Main tasks and Duties Achieves SDR Sourced Closed Won ARR €702k EUR per year Achieves 12 qualified accepted opportunities per quarter Understands business value drivers and key differentiators against top competitors Demonstrates effective objection handling Leverages the Value Selling methodology Familiarity working withing the Partner Ecosystem Strong activity with quality communication Understanding of key industries and current trends Willing to share, seek, and respects input from others Active thought leader on internal/external platforms Drives attendance and participation in all demand gen. initiatives Actively shares knowledge and best practices with other SDRs Acts as a thought leader, representing us at on social Contributes and works on sub projects and activities with moderate level of complexity Work is independent & collaborative in nature Provides regular updates to manager or project manager on project status Decisions/solutions can essentially enhance existing systems and processes Strong competence with various tools, procedures, and programming languages used to accomplish the jobBuilds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP General requirements 2 years in a similar role with a successful track record in which the candidate met or exceeded quota - measured in calls/day, appointments/week, qualification of opportunities, etc. Experience in a selling environment with a significant volume of outbound activity. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Willingness to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment. Recent experience in software technology, marketing automation, eBusiness, CRM software a plus. Technical ability to understand overall presentations, demo, competitive differentiation and answer the standard initial questions. Must have a strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices. Must have a high level of energy with a very positive phone demeanour. Good general understanding of business processes. Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and verbally. Very good command of English, spoken and written. Work environment Hybrid
