About the role We seek a proactive and enthusiastic individual with an understanding of HR principles and practices, to work as a Human Resources Administration Officer within our small HR Team. Responsible to the HR Manager, the principle responsibilities include: End to end recruitment and on-boarding Maintaining data and records Administering the orientation and new starter process Drafting of employment contracts, letters and other HR related correspondence Coordination of HR tasks such as uniforms, annual staff survey, probation, parental leave About you Our ideal candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude Demonstrated attention to detail skills Proactive with the ability to think ahead or of the next steps Ability to understand the implications of own actions or advice provided Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality Above average computer literacy skills i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Recent HR graduates or Cert IV in HR with a minimum with 1-year HR experience, are highly encouraged to apply for this position. This position requires the successful applicant to travel to all SKG branches to conduct interviews, along with other business related matters therefore a reliable vehicle and current drivers licence would be an advantage. There is an approximate 70/30 time split between our head office in Subiaco (70) and out in the field at the branches (30). Business related car parking and kilometres are reimbursed.
