Sales Manager (Customer Acquisition) — The Rocks, Sydney

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our growing sales team in the APAC region. As a Sales Manager you will lead, develop and coach Customer Acquisition team consisting of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and/or Account Executives (AEs), and build on the success we have and strengthen the team by providing new perspectives and business acumen and sales excellence. The role will help ensure that we build a transparent, collaborative, competent, and well-functioning Customer Acquisition team together with the whole Leadership team. The Sales Manager role at Mentimeter is a combination of focus on Line Management and working as a Team Lead, where you will spend most of your time on working with your team to overachieve their SQL (sales qualified leads) and ARR (annual recurring revenue) goals, tasks related to managing a team such as development talks, employee administration and recruitment, as well as tactics development and implementation. What You Will Do: Responsible for forecasting, reporting and reaching budget: Track sales targets, forecasting revenue and managing budgets Analyze sales performance metrics and report progress to the leadership team Develop and execute plans to achieve sales goals Identify and pursue new business opportunities Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely closure of deals Responsible for development of your team (Line Manager responsibilities): Ensure the personal and career development of each team member Lead performance management, promotion and career development decisions Set and monitor salaries for team members Lead operational work of your team (Team Lead responsibilities): Provide daily and weekly coaching to team members to help them develop Set goals and guide the team towards their achievement Manage team performance and ensure the team is meeting their objectives Recruitment: process, hiring decision and onboarding: Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure the right fit for the team Onboard new hires and ensure a smooth integration into the team Ensure sure we build a transparent, collaborative, competent and well functioning team: Build a collaborative and inclusive team culture Foster transparency, communication and teamwork across the organization Influencing and inspiring others: Mentor and lead others with visible business impact Drive initiatives and changes that deliver results Encourage a culture of innovation, creativity, and teamwork Tactical decisions together with Sales Director regarding focus for Customer Acquisition Resources We Have to Support You: World-class lead-generation from the Marketing and Product teams Marketing and Sales team to support in analysis and tactics Sales Operations function Tailored Management Training Program to give you the best practice and sharings from others on how to succeed in your Manager role Compensation Model: We strongly believe in the power of togetherness, and we put a lot of effort into collaboration, teamwork and helping each other whenever needed.
