ActronAir is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team to transport finished goods and spare parts to ActronAir customer premises as directed. ABOUT THE ROLE: The key responsibilities for the role include: Transport finished goods and spare parts to customer premises Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Other tasks as reasonably require YOU WILL NEED: There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role: Good verbal communication skills Knowledge of and commitment to safety principles Ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situation (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Current (as a minimum) MR Truck licence 3 years’ experience as a MR Truck Driver Forklift ticket is an advantage WHAT WE ARE PROUD OF: At ActronAir, we live by our core beliefs, sharing the values of: One Team Family Customer Focus Continuous Improvement & Innovation We take what we do seriously, but not ourselves.
