Internal Sales/Customer Service Department: Customer Relations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Australia - Dandenong Description We are looking for an Internal Sales/Customer Service person to join us based in Dandenong, VIC. You will have a solid history within the pumping industry and have a willingness to learn the business and product portfolio in order to provide a premium customer experience. To excel in this position previous sales experience and a technical background is preferred. Your communication skills will be vital in building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and current customers, as well as negotiating prices and finalizing sales. Key Responsibilities Creating a memorable customer experience. Support and work alongside the external sales team. Processing internal sales orders efficiently & effectively. Developing and maintaining up to date product knowledge. Developing and support effective relationships with dealers and customers. Pump selections/recommendations for daily sales and projects. Follow up on sales leads generated from various sources. Foster strong customer relationships. Follow up on outstanding quotations. Become your customers trusted advisor. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience with centrifugal pumps however other industry/technical sales experience considered Exceptional customer service and communication skills Excellent time management and organisation abilities Ability to work effectively under limited or no supervision Confident and outgoing nature with a professional attitude Experience with ERP or CRM highly regarded An understanding of customer service and ability to think on your feet.
