As the PTA spearheads large, intricate public transport endeavours under the METRONET program, the PTA Project Delivery Division seek a Contract Administration Coordinator to drive excellence in our Radio Systems Replace (RSR) project and the Nowergup Depot Modification project. About You As an experienced Contract Administration Coordinator who can provide contract administration support to major infrastructure projects your role is pivotal in the development and ongoing management of contracts across the RSR and Nowergup projects, as well as managing the accounting functions for the projects, and monitoring and reporting on financial performance. You will work as part of a motivated team in a fast-paced environment, providing support and advice to project directors and managers including developing procurement through contract management activities, and in financial management activities. The position is charged with ensuring the projects' adherence with PTA policies and meeting legislative requirements with a focus on procurement and financial management. The focus of this role will require: Supporting the Projects in the application of whole-of-life procurement management including developing procurement through to contract management activities. Supporting the Projects in financial management activities. Supporting the Projects in the development and ongoing maintenance in documentation of change management. Assisting in the research, analysis, development and review of Project Plans, Capital Expenditure Proposals, and reports for existing and potential major projects. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external clients and stakeholders. Providing leadership and technical advice in mentoring and coaching staff. Beyond the requirements mentioned above, we seek applicants capable of efficiently managing and guiding staff, consultants, and contractors to meet established goals; and who can negotiate adeptly, exert influence when necessary, and effectively communicate across all levels of engagement.
