DevOps Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

What you'll do As a DevOps Engineer, you will provide input into designs, contribute to installation and testing of automation tooling, including Ansible AWX, Terraform Enterprise, and Azure DevOps, and their integrations and use across AWS, Azure, and on-premises. Working closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams, you will lead efforts to automate processes, optimize workflows, and enhance the reliability and scalability of systems. This role requires candidates to have Australian citizenship. An active baseline security clearance, NV1or higher is preferred. Key responsibilities Design and Installation: Implement Ansible AWX for enterprise-wide workflow management, orchestration, configuration management, and automation. Operationalize Terraform Enterprise to handle the scale and complexity of enterprise infrastructure environments. Leverage Packer as image management software. Integration and Testing: Establish integrations for Ansible AWX, Terraform Enterprise with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps integrations with Packer, IaC linting tools, policy as code, and other DevOps tools. Oversee thorough testing of established integrations. Documentation and Handover: Create user stories based on the high-level design. Prepare and handover related documentation and operating procedures. Security and Compliance: Ensure installations comply with the organization's security controls with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Provide security and operational visibility via integrations into the organization's enterprise monitoring and alerting platform. Here's what you need Terraform Opensource: Proficiency in using Terraform Opensource for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is essential Ansible: Extensive experience with Ansible, including the creation of playbooks and roles Infrastructure Virtualization and Networking: Strong skillset in infrastructure virtualization and networking Azure DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent, including integration with code security scanning and test automation tools At least a baseline clearance if not NV1 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles Bonus points if with Terraform Enterprise: Experience with Terraform Enterprise is highly desirable Ansible AWX: Experience with the installation and integration of Ansible AWX Active Directory: Work experience with Active Directory RBAC: Experience in RBAC design and policy management HashiCorp Packer & Sentinel: Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Sentinel (Policy as Code) Benefits of working at Accenture: Holistic well-being program including health insurance Life & Salary Continuance Insurance 18 weeks paid parental leave Long & short-term career break opportunities Structured career development program Local and international career opportunities.
