We are seeking a VCE Science and Chemistry Teacher to join our boys Secondary School. This is a part time role to commence asap. About the role: Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas Implement strategies to achieve VCE Science and Chemistry targets related to student learning outcomes Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan Supervising a range of student activities including support and welfare programs About You: Solid experience working within a school environment as a VCE Science and Chemistry classroom teacher High level of attention to detail and empathy when dealing with students to aid in their ongoing development An agile response overall to your teaching will be an advantage Passionate about promoting safety and well being within the school environment Strong organisational skills with a key focus on strategically developing the students Current VIT Registration required We can offer you: Professional development Flexibility and work life balance 8 extra public holidays Early finishes on a Friday at 3.15 pm in Summer and 2.45 pm in Winter A community school where we are dedicated and passionate about achieving outcomes for all our students Yeshivah - Beth Rivkah is an accredited Child Safe Organisation with the Australian Childhood Foundation and committed to Child Safety.
