We are currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified person for the following position to commence Term 3 2024: English Teacher - Part Time 0.8FTE (Permanent) About the Role: The successful applicant must display excellent communication skills and proven classroom experience as well as a great understanding of the NESA requirements. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to teach Stage 4 - 6 English (with Extension 1 preferred) as well as a general passion and enthusiasm for teaching. Selection Criteria Approval to teach: English 7-10 (ENG) and English 11 - 12 (Extension 1 desirable) An understanding of the New Curriculum changes implemented in 2024. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative, engaging and differentiated programs incorporating future-focused pedagogies that meet the individual needs of learners and lead to improved educational outcomes for all students. Demonstrated ability to implement effective classroom practices and behaviour management strategies that foster the positive engagement, inclusivity, and well-being of all students Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a dynamic faculty, whole school staff, and the wider school community. Ability to work across 8 days a fortnight.
