At Emmaus we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. Physical Education and wellbeing are important curriculum areas at Emmaus. We believe in educating the whole child - academically, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. We are looking for a Physical Education and wellbeing teacher who would like to teach Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6 students from Tuesday - Thursday. This teacher would be part of our Physical Education team. This position could also be a 4 or 5 day position releasing teachers throughout the school. This position could be ongoing for the right applicant. The applicant will possess the understandings, skills and ability to implement high expectations for all. You will have excellent communication skills and be team orientated. Being prepared to learn and grow as well as open to new ways of working is an essential part of this role. You will be effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student wellbeing practices.
