Apply with 11 Recruitment today Dry Seals Australia Pty Ltd sealing solutions is the future in architectural panel systems for filling joints quickly, effectively and efficiently with little to no waste of cured silicone products or empty silicone plastic wet seal cartridges of which on an average building sites runs into the 1000’s even 10’s of thousands to add to that waste we have a massive waste of wet seal sealant, foam backer rod and tape. We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Designer to join the team on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects related to natural stone. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas. Research and select appropriate materials to ensure durability and sustainability in our products. Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Utilize CAD software to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing. Work within budget constraints while maintaining the highest design standards. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to enhance our product offerings. Preparing and commissioning prototypes and samples Prepare comprehensive design documentation for production, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and user manuals. Supervising the preparation of patterns, programs and tooling, and the manufacturing process Collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field. Proven experience in industrial design for at least 2 years Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong sketching and prototyping skills. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for sustainable design and environmental consciousness. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $73,000 - $83,000 p.a Superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
