Doka Australia offers an exciting opportunity as Head of Sales who will be responsible for the management and development of the revenue and profitability in the formwork business. In this role, the Head of Sales will be responsible for generating a pipeline of business and the leadership of a team of individuals in sales and project management ensuring that all targets are met and all market potentials are exploited. The Head of Sales is part of the Country Leadership Team and reports to the Managing Director. Key Responsibilities include: Lead and manage the Sales Team including planning, training and optimization Develop and implement the Sales strategy in collaboration with management Develop and manage all nominated projects and ensure all deadlines are met Ensure that the Sales forecasts are accurate and achieved Provide recommendations to the MD on product requirements, marketing and pricing structures Communicate client updates, competitor activity and market trends locally and regionally Ensure that all enquiries received by the team and themselves are actioned immediately and that the highest level of customer service is provided in a professional manner Communicate effectively and collaborate with engineering, finance and operations and ensure smooth and close collaboration between the departments Ensure efficient and compliant projects and contract management Act as a role model both internally and externally, displaying a high standard of professionalism and expertise Qualifications We are looking for a dynamic and agile person with strong leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving. In addition, we look for the following qualifications: 10 years' Sales/Engineering experience in System Formwork Industry Qualification in Civil Engineering, Business Management or equivalent Large Scale Projects Management experience and solid knowledge Experience in leading, coaching and managing a sales team Sales management skills especially in negotiation and closing deals Good financial understanding/business acumen (Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies etc) Project & Key Account Management as well as job site experience Proven Leadership Experience: Steering with KPI's, enabling & empowering reports, inspiring others, Management by objectives Proactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication and feedback skills Conceptual and analytical thinking, commercial awareness, customer orientation, creativity and assertiveness Additional Information If you would like to find out more about this exciting opportunity, please contact Belinda Madani today at belinda.madanidoka.com Let's form the future together.
