About the role Role type: Permanent, full time Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 A Senior Experience Designer (UX/UI) choreographs the end-to-end experience of a digital application to ensure it performs the desired function in a usable, navigable and pleasing way. Senior Experience Designers create many of the requirements for front-end developers. You'll be working with a multidisciplinary team of squad members and business stakeholders focused on designing simple and seamless experiences and customer touch points for ANZ's Digital Origination platform. While leading your craft, you will coach other designers and project/team members in design, present to stakeholders/partners/clients and work collaboratively with your team to improve our customers' financial wellbeing. Project scoping: Lead the scoping and planning of design activities in a project, ensuring they remain on track Collaboration: Confidently manage and foster stakeholder relationships to gather information and validate ideas. Prototyping: Leverage your experience to create user flows, wireframes and UX/UI designs. Information Architecture: Understand and apply the relationship between information/content, narrative, and interaction from the perspective of the bank, our teams, and our customers to drive efficient and valuable UX. Delivery: Create digital content, interface copy and micro-copy for digital products that meet business goals and end user needs. Design artefacts: Use your advanced Figma skills to create design artefacts that are high quality and align with our Design System. Accessibility: Proven knowledge and experience working with accessibility standards (i.e. WCAG 2.1) and how they can be applied. Framework and standards: Ensure ANZ's design methodologies, standards and frameworks are adhered to and drive effective UX. Ideation: Use collaborative ideation techniques to create and validate solutions. Design research: Contribute to the planning and execution of qualitative and quantitative research to inform/validate designs. Analysis and synthesis: Generate research insights and translate them into actionable design opportunities. What will you bring? To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 7 years as an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer with solid background across both digital and non-digital experiences. Ability to create low, medium and high fidelity UX/UI prototypes and to know when to apply these in the design process. Advanced Figma and JIRA skills, while being open and adaptive to new technologies, with strong knowledge of Design Systems. Deep knowledge of digital channels and platforms. Excellent stakeholder management, storytelling and influencing skills. Excellent collaboration skills to gather information and validate ideas with squad members and stakeholders. Ability to use research to develop complex information architecture based on user needs and focus content areas. Proven experience conducting user testing including automated testing, interviews, and observation, to generate insights. A confident and empathetic leadership style with excellent communication skills. Ability to present messages and ideas in a clear, concise and compelling manner. Coach and guide teams to apply a design-led approach when developing solutions. Help others develop their skills in their growth areas and foster an energetic, vibrant team culture. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
