Established Commercial Builder, diverse contracts both public/private, seeking talented Contracts Administrators to join their office-based team. The Company Through an exclusive partnership, we are working with a leading commercial building company specializing in Design and Construct (DNC) projects across Australia. They have a proven track record of delivering innovative construction solutions in the Public and Private sectors, including Health & Aged Care, Commercial, Industrial, and Education. Our client has been consistently growing in both size and reputation by promoting internally rather than hiring externally. Their dedication to delivering top-quality projects and exceptional service has helped them establish a strong presence in their chosen market. Due to sustained growth from project wins and a strong pipeline of work, they are actively looking for talented Contracts Administrators to join their team. The initial role will involve assisting the project team in delivering current projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing all aspects of the subcontract and head contract process Negotiating and reviewing subcontract and head contract tenders, including preparing tender comparisons for review Preparing, checking, and reviewing subcontract packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules Monitoring subcontractors to ensure compliance with environmental commitments and responsibilities Preparing accurate payment schedules Understanding and managing subcontractor contractual risk Processing progress claims, delay claims, and external variations according to contractual obligations Preparing project budgets for review and providing accurate rolling final account forecasts Assisting in the preparation and administration of project completion and inspection test plans Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management (Quantity Surveying) or Engineering Demonstrated 3 years of local experience across relevant projects Proven local knowledge of subcontract tendering, standards, and procedures Strong negotiation skills Sound understanding of overall construction programs and plans Able to identify key obligations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build rapport at all levels Proficiency in current industry software including Buildsoft, Procure, and the Microsoft Office suite To apply please follow the link below, or submit via MPL.
