Administration Officer — Canberra Region, Australian Capital Territory

The key duties of the position include The Role Under direction, contribute to Directorate and program management requirements through providing procedural, operational, administrative support to the JCG ERP Business Transformation Program and Logistics Systems Transition activities to support business readiness with the adoption of Defence ERP. Support stakeholder engagement and liaison across JCG, the ERP Program and Groups and Services. Provide support for relevant Committees and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve the outcomes of the Program. Work independently, exercise initiative and work with under direction to achieve ERP Business Readiness Outcomes. Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the team and Directorate. Duties including but not limited to: Coordinate and perform administrative and business support activities for the JCG ERP Business Readiness Program and relevant logistics systems activities to meet stakeholder needs. Apply the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to provide advice and support for a range of complex corporate, administration and business support activities. Work collaboratively, build and sustain effective relationships and provide constructive feedback and engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders as required. Take the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives, provide advice and recommendations as required. Resolve problems and recommend alternative courses of action. Assist to build the team and with continuous improvement. About our Team The Directorate of Logistics Systems transition (DLST) is located in Canberra and Melbourne, and is one of three directorates within the Logistics Systems Branch. The Directorate consists of a blended APS, ADF and contractor workforce, many with deep subject matter expertise and specialist skills. It is agile to meet the changing business demands of the organisation, including embracing ERP. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be capable of working with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders. Understand what is required to prepare and transition our organisation through business transformation initiatives ready for the Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. They will be able to manage the priorities and needs of the customers to meet and exceed their expectations by being able to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable. Have a good level of computer literacy, knowledge of business transformation initiatives.
