Due to continued growth, we seek a skilled and experienced full-time Design Drafting / Mechanical Engineer to join their friendly team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Drafting Engineer is primarily responsible for designing solutions and equipment for the Food and Packaging industry and assisting with project management. You will be using Solidworks and Autocad 2D & 3D designing solutions for a vast arrange of clients. This will involve working closely with the MD and others, creating solutions. At times, you may also be required to attend onsite client facilities to get a better understanding of the designs. Communicating with both clients and the internal team will be a key part of your role. At times, you may even assist with hands-on assembly work.
