The Role Are you a seasoned legal assistant with a passion for excellence, and looking to branch out from a standard legal support role? In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Insurance team with administrative tasks, including file and document management, end-of-month billing, simple drafting, and court documentation. Add to this the additional opportunity to expand and diversify your skillset by providing integral administrative support to our State Government Industry Group, handling monthly reporting, conflict management, and file compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior legal assistant to take the next step in their career. Experience We are seeking candidates with three to five years experience working in the legal industry, preferably in corporate litigation, with exposure to government clients being a plus. You will be highly organised, an excellent communicator and thrive on providing exceptional support to your authors. Furthermore, you will demonstrate the following attributes: Ability to exercise initiative and maturity around confidential and sensitive information; Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external parties; Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines; Excellent attention to detail; Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and part of a team; Ability to work effectively with the other Legal Assistants in the team; and Excellent technical skills and understanding of software applications.
